Listened to your podcast with Wade Wilson. My daughter played on his 2019 National Champion. I consider Wade a friend, although he takes some getting used to and you cannot have thin skin around him. There is no coach more loyal to his players and everything he stated in the podcast with you was 100% accurate. I tend to text him after wins to this day offering congratulations. I thought you would appreciate a couple of stories regarding Wade. They both occurred during the National Championship season. One displays his character, and one his loyalty to those players that earn his respect. Toward the end of the regular season the Dogs lost a close game to Mary Hardin-Baylor. I believe the score was 1-0. The girls did not play to their capabilities and let's just say Wade let them know how he felt about the loss. One player took it particularly hard and decided to quit. What impressed me, and what I personally thought was a turning point in the season, is that Wade could have set in his office while she met with the team, but stood there and listened to her comments. In my opinion that taught the team accountability, good or otherwise, in one's actions. TLU played at another level the rest of the season and the result was the National Championship. The other story involved my daughter. She made First Team All-Conference all three seasons (Covid ended her senior season). She also made the SCAC Conference All-Tournament team her freshman and junior year (the National Championship season). She
